During this year’s SPIE Medical Imaging conference, which took place from 21-26 February 2015 in Orlando/Florida, Dan Sodickson gave a plenary talk entitled “The Rapid Imaging Renaissance: Sparser Samples, Denser Dimensions, and Glimmerings of a Grand Unified Tomography”. The lecture is now available for online viewing and gives a comprehensive overview of the history and recent trends in acceleration techniques for medical imaging. It also gives an overview of the current research activities at CAI²R on accelerated imaging.
